How to expand vocabulary?
- Reading - do not neglect it.
The child picks up lots of new words from books,
stores and remembers them. - Correct and beautiful speech of parents.
We try to eliminate slang and interjections from our speech,
and instead use more descriptive words and synonyms. - Dialogue:
A conversation about what has been read or seen.
Offer to tell how the child would behave in the place of the hero.
Detailed description of their actions.
What should the child say at their age?
1 year - 10 simple words: "Mom, Dad".
2 years - word combinations: "give binky", "give drink".
3 years - sentences: "Mom, I want to walk", "Mom, buy a car".
4 years - pronouncing hissing sounds: s, soft s, z, soft z, c.
5-7 years - pronouncing hissing and sonorous sounds: sh, zh, ch, shch, l, soft l, r, soft r.
