Chicago Sweatlodge - Banya and sauna в Chicago

Chicago Sweatlodge is not just a bathhouse, but part of the rich history of Eastern European culture in Chicago. In the late 1800s, when thousands of Poles, Russians, and Ukrainians immigrated to this city, they brought with them their traditions, including the famous bathhouse. At the beginning of the 20th century, Chicago was home to about 20 bathhouses, but over time their number sharply decreased. The Sauna of the Old World, or Chicago Sweatlodge, deserves special attention thanks to its unique approach to creating a real Russian bathhouse. The Sweatlodge stoves were built by Russian masters with a lifetime of experience in designing and building Russian baths.

This place combines the traditions of Russian and Turkish baths, providing its guests with the opportunity to experience hot ionic steam or the dry heat coming from stoves built by experienced Russian masters. We offer massage services to ensure complete relaxation for our clients.

The steam rooms at Chicago Sweatlodge are made of special Belgian granite and red stone, which provide unique sensations during steaming. Wet and dry steam rooms are designed to calm and cleanse the spirit and body. And after the steam room, you can enjoy dishes from Eastern European and Mexican cuisine, making a visit to this place truly unforgettable. We have dry and wet steam rooms for different ways of steaming, all designed to calm and cleanse the spirit and body.

Our restaurant combines the best dishes of Eastern European and Mexican cuisine in its menu: dumplings, pierogi, burritos, and much more.
