Online Russian language classes for bilingual children and those studying Russian as a foreign language: exciting and effective!

Russian language is considered one of the most difficult languages to learn and it does have a lot of rules. Learning all these rules can seem like an overwhelming task, especially for young children. However, as experience shows, practicing the language with a native speaker helps to absorb the material much faster.

How the classes are conducted
Classes are held on the ZOOM platform. I offer both group and individual lessons, with a personalized plan for each student depending on their level of knowledge and needs. The duration of one lesson is 60 minutes. In individual lessons, I create a personal plan, which allows your child to learn at their own pace and adapt the learning to their individual needs and abilities. The schedule of classes can be flexible.

Children learn the following in the classes:
1 level (5-8 years old):

• Russian alphabet, sounds and their distinction from letters;
• Features of vowels and consonants, stress;
• Punctuation (intonation);
• Reading, writing, counting, solving logical tasks;
• Memory and thinking development;
• Articulation gymnastics;
• Creative activities and exploration of the surrounding world;
• Expansion of vocabulary and speech development;
• Introduction to works of Russian children's writers and poets;
• School preparation and, of course, conversation in Russian;
• All classes are conducted in a playful way.
  2 level (8-11 years old):
• Familiarization with Russian authors;
• Reading and analysis of readings;
• Listening and expanding vocabulary.
  3 level (12-15 years old):
• Reading Russian literature and analyzing readings;
• Development of thinking and logic;
• Introduction to Russian culture, traditions, cuisine, and history.
