Albany Sauna is one of the oldest public saunas in North America. Albany Sauna, Massage Therapy, and Hot Tubs. The quality of heat and steam ("Löyly") comes from a brick stove filled with dense river rock, which is illuminated with gas every morning for about four hours, and then retained by closing the chimney to capture the heat. Around the stove are four separate rooms (comfortable for 4 people, and according to Finnish traditions, families are also welcome!) Each of them has: a raised bench, a cold waterfall, an air vent, and a shower. We also offer aromatherapy: eucalyptus, lavender, or citrus essential oil, or RENTO aroma of birch and berries for the sauna. Outdoor hot tubs are also available.
